We have a main focus in applications of modern membrane technology, with which it is possible in many cases, to minimize chemical demand, operating work and costs. Especially for industrial uses are a lot of different membrane materials and module constructions available.

We have the competence to offer the optimal solution in water treatment on the basis of long term experience.

Menke & Richter Wassertechnik GmbH has been founded in 2001. The two owners, Dipl. Ing.Wilhelm Menke and Dipl. Ing. Kai Richter have more than 20 years experience in developing, design, sales, construction, installation, project management and commissioning of water and waste water treatment plants.

In the MDF-Fiber board production process wooden chips are washed and boiled under high pressure. The out coming water is loaded with soluble wood components and cannot be discharged into a public sewer. Asa further problem the flow rate and the COD-load are extremely season-dependent.

We have developed a reliable process for economical treatment of this waste water, with different possibilities of reuse, up to boiler feed water. The process, a combination of suitable steps, allows to reuse up to 90 % as feed water for process steam generation. Separated solids, with high energy content, can be used as fuel in a solid material boiler.

Our speciality is the water management for whole production locations. We reduce your water and waste water costs to a minimum.

In the pulp and paper industry are used judge amounts of process water. This water is mostly taken from rivers or lakes. The arising waste water has to be treated to a high quality level, to discharge itdirectly back to the river.

By production integrated water recycling, a part of the fresh water can be cut down. We have the experience to handle large flow rates in this industrial sector. Surface- or well water, waste water treatment or water recycling; we plan Installations with consideration of the customary standards.

Crack inspection by fluorescent penetrant process is very common in the aircraft- and automotive industry. In the appropriate rinsing processes is coming out a waste water, that contains penetrant oil, tensidesand dyestuff. This rinsing water cannot be discharged into a public sewer.

For treatment of the rinsing water we use a combination of ultra filtration and activated carbon filter. The treated water is practically free of oil and dyestuff and can be reused in the rinsing process.

We supply complete ultra filtration plants with ceramic membranes and stainless steel pipe work, specially designed for this application and we take care that your plant is always in a reliable condition.

Furthermore we plan, supply and maintain plants in the following fields:

In the food and beverage industry, a high loaded waste water usually accrues, that cannot de discharged untreated to a public sewer or it occurs high costs due to the COD-load. Here, effective concepts arerequired for pre- or full treatment.

Oil and fat, protein and suspended solids can be removed by using mechanical processes and adding highly efficient flocculants. By this pre-treatment the discharge to a sewer becomes possible, or the disposal costs become considerably lower.

Under certain conditions, a full treatment with biological process and clarification leads to another cost reduction. Then, it is not far to think about water recycling. Treated waste water cannot be used again in the production, but there is a demand in every operation for subordinate purposes, like cooling water or cleaning water.

Mobile Reverse Osmosis Unit

Whether water supply for construction sites or drinking water in emergency cases, there must be robust installations, which are easily to transport and can produce drinking water practically from each surfacewater.

Through decades of experience in treating contaminated surface water to drinking water, in cases of disaster, we are aware of special requirements to design mobile plants.

We prefer the chemical-poor treatment by membrane technology and combine different components like mechanical filters, ultra filtration, reverse osmosis and disinfection.

According the conditions of use, like raw water quality, climate zone, energy supply and requirements for the handling of equipment, customer-specific containerised installations are designed. We supply containerised water treatment plants for industrial applications and civil protection.
