Over 50 years ago founders Warren Hendrix and Clyde Orr developed what is believed to be the first all-metal, transportable gas adsorption analyzer.

Their vision was to provide a commercially available instrument that would allow anyone, with just a small amount of training, to measure the surface area of materials and particulates using gas adsorption methodology.

This vision is still true today. Micromeritics is dedicated to applying our expertise to create quality, accessible, material characterization instruments to advance the speed of innovation and improve the products that touch each of our lives.

At Micromeritics we're intentionally structured to support the key tenents of our mission to provide quality instruments to our customers.
