The fusion is the dissolution on the sample of flux. The oxides are easily dissolved in Lithium borates. The Lithium Tetraborate (Li₂B₄O₇ -m.p. 920° C ), by having and acid character, react better with basic oxides, as for example the CaO. Therefore, the Lithium Metaborate (LiBO₂ – m.p. 850°C), which has basic character reacts easily with acid oxides, for example:SiO₂. The MAXXIFlux has a high purity level and analytical accuracy, high density, and can be pre-fused or not.
Platinum has a wide application in laboratories of experimental analysis. Materials as crucibles, casting dishes, dishes, covers and others obtained a wide market because of the high resistence to the heating ( high melting point) and to the attack of chemical products.
