Peerless Manufacturing Company
Peerless began on the streets of Shellman, Georgia back in 1954, developing and producing the first mechanical peanut curing system, incorporating drying wagons that go to the field and bring the crop back to a central drying point. Shortly thereafter, we moved to our present location on US Hwy 82 (just 2 hours SW of Atlanta, GA) where today we operate in a facility that encompasses over four acres under one roof. Over the years, our drying/curing equipment has been used to dry peanuts, pecans, walnuts, onions, seed corn, cotton, herbs, spices, grapes, beans, pine cones, saw palmetto berries, muscodines, and wood chips. Today we offer a full line of products in the agricultural, sod, airline ground support and materials handling businesses. In addition, we offer job shop services including metal fabrication, welding, assembly, and painting. We also sandblast, paint and refurbish old equipment.
