Our engineers and technicians are able to fabricate complete systems in our shop and economically install specific components of systems. Many systems are setup in enclosed trailers that can be economically transported and set up at a site. Once the site has been successfully remediated, the trailer can be easily removed for resale. We direct and assist contractors with the construction of our designs.
We routinely prepare engineering design plans for storage tanks, septic systems, and foundations.
Licensed Site Professionals (LSPs) direct the notification, assessment and remediation of contaminated properties in accordance with the Massachusetts Contingency Plan. A LSP is a qualified professional with years of experience that represents the best interests of property owners and buyers.
We routinely run pilot tests and treatability studies on the representative samples of the actual water or soil to be treated in order to determine the best treatment technology. We conduct biochemical evaluations to determine the remedial additives needed to enhance bioremediation. The results are used to develop the most cost-effective treatment system design.
An environmental assessment is a significant component of most real estate transactions. At Penney Engineering, each assessment is undertaken to address the needs of the client and to identify any potential liability associated with the property. No member of our assessment group has less than two years direct experience insuring that our work is thorough and concise.
