We deliver state-of-the-art Wind and Thermodynamic Profilers along with integrated system solutions optimized for mobile and fixed site applications. Radar Wind Profiler (to 20 km), Sodar Wind Profiler (to 800 m), Temperature, Humidity and Liquid Profiler (to 10 km). Our profiling suites support local High Impact Nowcasting including airports, space launch facilities, nuclear power plants, petrochemical facilities and emergency response operations. Currently, Radiometrics has more than 300 MP-series and PR-series radiometers deployed worldwide. The map below shows the location of many of these deployed radiometers.

Radiometrics surpasses 300 radiometer systems worldwide!

Radiometrics is the world’s leading manufacturer of microwave radiometers for environmental remote sensing. For more than two decades, Radiometrics has provided hundreds of worldwide customers with radiometer systems, innovative software tools and technical support for environmental monitoring and prediction.

Applications include high-impact local weather forecasting, wind, solar and electric load forecasting, weather modification, and soil moisture remote sensing. Radiometrics operates the Boundary Layer Network, a nationwide U.S. radiometer network, in partnership with Earth Networks. This first-of-a-kind commercial network delivers boundary layer thermodynamic data essential for accurate short term local weather forecasting.

There are many weather challenges that radiometers can take on, from augmenting weather balloon soundings for data to feed into “data-hungry” weather models, to fog predictions, to air quality measurements and predictions, to utility load forecasting and wind farm management, to a variety of proprietary applications.
