Our Group HSQE Department provides support and advice to management and workforce on maintaining the highest level of occupational health and safety standards.
The Health and Safety Policy provides the framework and structure to the management system and details the commitments RBC makes to deliver excellent Health and Safety performance.
Our commitment to Health & Safety is demonstrated by Raymond Brown Construction achieving a RoSPA Gold Medal award this year as a result of five consecutive Gold Awards together with numerous Contractor Safety Awards from key clients.
The company has embarked on a program to update & integrate the separate Safety, Quality & Environmental Management Systems into one ‘Integrated Management System’ (IMS). In developing our IMS we retain our third party registration to ISO 9001:2008 (Quality), ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental) and OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health & Safety).

Objectives and targets form part of our Environmental Management System, which is accredited to BS EN ISO 14001:2004, and our Sustainability Plan. On achieving the identified objectives and targets of our EMS our environmental performance is increased thus adding to the building blocks steps needed for sustainability. The targets are reviewed and updated on an ongoing basis, details of which are discussed at the annual Management Review meeting. Success is measured on achieving the target for the objective in the required time frame.
