With over thirty years of experience in the field of environmental research and development, Dr. Robert L. Carroll founded RLC Technologies, Inc. in 1997. He currently serves as the Company’s President and CEO.
Based in Richmond Virginia, RLC Technologies sought out to develop a superior technological solution for the remediation and recycling of soil, sludge, and other materials containing a wide range of organic contaminants.
Built around the indirect thermal desorption process, RLC Technologies Anaerobic Thermal Desorption Units (ATDU) have been employed on numerous successful thermal remediation projects around the world and RLC has become recognized as the leader in the design and operation of thermal remediation systems for the oil and gas industry.
RLC Technologies qualified staff of engineers and fabricators manufactures equipment with quality components and to the highest standards of workmanship. As our ATDU systems are put into operation on job sites around the world, components are built onto modular skids to allow for simple transportation and erection once on site.
In addition to our central staff, RLC Technologies stands by its customers by providing on-site technical support throughout the duration of the commissioning and training process. Each customers’ project requirements including feed characteristics, desired yearly, monthly or daily material processing rate, project clean-up criteria and environmental considerations, operating schedule, and allocated work space for the plant are some of the key parameters that can be used by RLC Technologies to conduct equipment sizing for evaluation by each customer.
Typically the Company’s smaller plants are better suited to meet lower material processing rate when compared to the larger type ATDUs.
