A visionary has fulfilled his personal dream with a remarkable piece of architecture in Linz-Pichling, Austria. This visionary is Gerald Hanisch – company founder, art lover, meticulous fighter for top quality, international thinker and committed to sustainability for 25 years.

He founded RUBBLE MASTER in 1991 with the ambition of one day leading the market for crushers with so-called Compact Recyclers. 'Back then people were tentatively beginning to think about reusing materials on construction sites,' says Hanisch, explaining the strategic approach.

It was already clear at the time that rubble recycling would become a veritable gold mine. 'We worked meticulously on improving our machines all the time with the aim of giving as many entrepreneurs as possible the opportunity to use mobile rubble recycling of asphalt, C&D waste as well as the crushing for natural stone for added value,' says Hanisch, explaining the intention behind the business model.

Thanks to the notably future-oriented technology of the RUBBLE MASTER crushers, the machines also managed a breakthrough in the international marketplace. The company's continuous growth meant that it was necessary to expand the company headquarters in Linz-Pichling in 2008. In keeping with the environmental approach and the sustainability which is reflected throughout the company, the office complex was built as a passive-house construction. All eyes are on production which can be seen at all times from the office building through a glass facade which spans three floors. This assembly hall with ultramodern fabrication is a low-energy construction.

The leading Upper Austrian company has always concentrated on its core competencies – the development, sales and service of mobile crushers in the compact class and, as a result, rose consistently to become the global market leader with Compact Crushers under 30 tonnes. The RM 120 newly defines compact crushing: With only 35 tonnes the new flagship can recycle 350 t/h. RM Compact Crushers have the best relation between weight and output in the respective transport class.

The RM 120GO! can be used to crush a wide range of different materials. Based on the famed RM GO! principle, the RM 120GO! fulfils all the requirements of a reliable and user-friendly crusher.

RUBBLE MASTER has sold over 2,100 Compact Crushers around the world in the course of what is now 25 years of activity in this field. The striking yellow machines are sold in all continents. Besides the core markets of Central Europe and North America the company also has satisfied customers in Eastern Europe, Russia, Africa and South America.

RUBBLE MASTER's exports account for over 95% of business. The majority of the RM crushers are sold in the core European market. 'The North and South American market already accounts for a quarter of our turnover. This is where we see the biggest growth potential, also in the future. The perseverance we have shown in these markets in difficult phases has strengthened the trust placed in RM and our products,' says the convinced CEO Gerald Hanisch. RUBBLE MASTER more than meets the high service requirements of the Americans. Our own RM office in the USA enables us to expand here in a strategic way. One focal point of RUBBLE MASTER lies in the field of Research and Development.
