CEMS
CEMS
Continuous Emissions Monitoring, CEMs, or Automated Measurement Systems, AMS, MCERTS is the UK scheme for certifying equipment and personnel as meeting european standards within emissions monitoring, sometimes called stack testing. For equipment this involves extensive laboratory performance testing, a three month field trial and annual audits of the manufacturing site to ensure continuing compliance.
MCERTS is mandatory for processes falling under the Waste Incineration Directive and Large Combustion Plant Directive. It is not a requirement for Part B processes but additional credit can be awarded during OMA audits for using MCERTS certified equipment.
Automotive
Signal has extensive experience in providing and installing complete bespoke emissions systems for Euro 5&6 test applications - from analysers through to complete measurement systems.
Portable VOC
Signal has been manufacturing the industry standard portable FID for stack testers, the 3010 MINIFID, for approaching 20 years. For 2013 we have updated the design to offer new exciting features such as a catalytic air purifier for low range applications and an on-board datalogging system for extra convenience on site.
Service and Support
Correctly maintained, your equipment Signal kit would be expected to have an operational life of at least 10 years. We recommend a contract of preventative work provided by our trained engineers to ensure that your equipment is operating at optimum performance at all times.
