Targi Kielce is one of Poland`s exhibition market leaders - facts and figures - 90,000 m2 of exhibitions space including 36,000 of indoor space in the 7, fully equipped exhibition halls. Targi Kielce - 254,000 visitors from 60 countries, 9,900 exhibitors as well as 248,000 m2 of the exhibition space leased. The Targi Kielce calendar comprises 70 events - trade shows, exhibitions and 700 conferences, including PLASTPOL - Poland`s most international trade show, the world famous MSPO which is ranked third among Europe`s defence industry expos, AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA - Europe`s only fair of this type, SACROEXPO - Europe`s largest church and devotional articles fair and AGROTECH - the agricultural fair which enjoys greatest attendance. The trade fair and expo organised ranked second in Central and Eastern Europe.
Targi Kielce is the conference, seminar and concert organiser. Poland's most state-of-the-art expo pavilion (5355m2) can be used as the venue for congresses and events for 4,500 people. The new Congress Centre became operational in August 2013. The centre has the capacity of over 1,000 people. The expansion scheme has also included the construction of the multi-storey car park with the capacity of 480 vehicles and the West-side entry terminal
Targi Kielce also enjoys the second part of Poland's trade fair market. Among all Central and Eastern Europe's expo organisers, Targi Kielce is ranked also second with regards to the number of exhibitors and to exhibition space leased. This result puts Targi Kielce ahead of HUNGEXPO Budapest, Brno in Czech Republic or Kyiv International Contract Fair.

Targi Kielce, the company initially named Kielce Trade Fairs was founded in 1992. It was a joint endeavour of Kielce Mayor Robert Rzepka, Kielce Voivode Józef Płoskonka and the director responsible for the Świętokrzyskie economy - Stanisław Gieroń. Not only did they provide the venue for the future exhibition centre, but also promoted the idea among the Kielce’s fifty councillors.
The first expos were developed under the auspices of the Świętokrzyskie Regional Development Agency and its president Roman Musiał and the deputy president Andrzej Mochoń. The International Defence Industry Exhibition has been the event of the greatest promotional importance ever since its unveiling. Andrzej Mochoń, initially the vice president and then the president of the Świętokrzyskie Regional Development Agency was one of the co-founders and initiators of MSPO, Kielce's first major exhibition. In 1996, Mr Mochoń was the president of the Targi Kielce Trade Fair for several months. For several years since March 2000 the Poznań International Fair had a dominant position at the general shareholders meeting. The cooperation terminated in 2006 when the city of Kielce repurchased the shares as the result of the conflict over the profits allocation for the expansion of the exhibition centre's infrastructure.
In 2002 the centre changed its name to Targi Kielce. Since 21 January 2006, Andrzej Mochoń PhD. has been the Targi Kielce Management Board President.
With its professional team, Targi Kielce is able to organise events of international significance, including the International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO,the International Fair of Road Construction Industry AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA, the Plastics Processing Exhibition PLASTPOL. Targi Kielce is also the organiser of one of Poland's most popular exhibition which enjoys the greatest number of visitors – every year the International Fair of Agricultural Techniques AGROTECH host more than 70,000 guests. Targi Kielce is also the stage for the International Exhibition of Church Construction, Church Fittings and Furnishings and Religious Art SACROEXPO and the International Funeral and Cemetery Fair NECROEXPO.
In 2013 Targi Kielce completed the greatest facility modernisation and expansion programme in its history. The expansion scheme was held within the scope of the “Modernisation and expansion of Targi Kielce Infrastructure as the International Exhibition-Congress Centre” investment scheme, held within the framework of the Measure III.2 'Congress and Tourism Infrastructure' of the Operational Programme 'Development of Eastern Poland for the years 2007 – 2013' The construction of the entry terminals, the E Expo Hall, the Congress Centre and the multi-level car-park accounted for the total of 189 million and 858 thousand PLN (gross). As the result of the modernisation programme, Targi Kielce offers the total of 90 thousand square metres of exhibition grounds, including 36 thousand metres of indoor exhibition space in the seven Expo Halls. There is Poland's most state-of-the-art expo pavilion of 5.3 thousand square metres which can be used as the venue for congresses and events for 4,500 people. As part of the expansion scheme, the multi-storey car park for 480 cars, the congress and banquet hall for 850 people, the 19 modern conference rooms as well as the conference rooms at the 57-meter lookout tower have also been put into operation.
Targi Kielce has been awarded with numerous awards and distinctions, the most prestigious being: the Polish Business Leader which has been awarded eight times, as well as a Diamond for the Gold Statuette of the Polish Business Leader. These accolades are bestowed by the Business Centre Club. The Company received the Gold Statuette in recognition of effective implementation of its stable development policy, continuous introduction of new high quality services, as well as its generosity in providing support to those in need.
Nine of our fair events have been awarded with a European Medal for Services, which is granted by the Office of the Committee for European Integration and the Business Centre Club: the International Fair of Road Construction Industry AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA; the International Defence Industry Exhibtion MSPO; the International Fair of Technologies for Foundry METAL; the International Exhibition of Church Construction, Church Fittings and Furnishings and Religious Art SACROEXPO; the International Fair of Local Public Transport TRANSEXPO; the International Fair of Plastics Processing PLASTPOL and, since 2008, the International Fair of Agricultural Techniques AGROTECH; the Exhibition of Metalworking and Metal Machining STOM (since 2009), and the Education Fair EDUKACJA (since March 2010).
In recognition of the organization of prestigious international trade fairs and exhibitions, the promotion of Poland at international level, as well as the contribution to the celebrations of the Polish Year in Ukraine, the Kielce exhibition centre was honoured with an award of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. In 2004, the Company received an Economic Award of the Świętokrzyski Voivode, which is given to companies contributing to the promotion and economic and social development of the Świętokrzyskie region, enhancing its image and advertising its values. In 2007, the Targi Kielce company reached the top of the FORBES ranking ”The Event of 2007 in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodship”, in addition to being honoured with such awards as: NOVATOR, ‘Market Leader’ and ‘Leader of the Region’. For a number of times the Kielce exhibition centre was honoured with a Business Gazelle, a prestigious European award given to small and medium-size enterprises. The Gazelle is presented by the Puls Biznesu magazine to companies which not only report profits, but also record increasing revenue levels on an annual basis. What the organizers found to be the most important factor was its rapid and continuous growth. The position in the ranking depends upon the percentage increase in sales. The purpose of this ranking is to promote companies which emphasize transparency in its activities. Therefore, to qualify, all companies in the ranking need to have a proven track record and to be reliable, with solidity and honest openness being their priorities. According to the organizers, an important purpose of this ranking is to promote companies which are honest, reliable and which reveal all information about their financial results. In 2008, the Targi Kielce company also received a Świętokrzyska Quality Award, which is given by the Marshal of the Świetokrzyskie Voivodship, while Andrzej Mochoń, President of the Management Board of Targi Kielce received the ‘Man of the Year’ award from the Świetokrzyski Voivode.
In addition to that, in 2009 the Company received another Business Gazelle award, Foreign Companies’ Partner – Ambassador of the Polish Economy award (from the Business Centre Club and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs), as well as The Well-Perceived Company award (from Newsweek magazine). Targi Kielce was also awarded by the State Labour Inspectorate in its competition Employer – Organizer of Safe Work.
In 2011 Targi Kielce was also showered with distinctions. The Centre was also awarded with the BCC's Ambassador of the Polish Economy title in addition to the ELAMED publishing house' competition accolade in the 'State-of the-art Hall' category. 2012 brought further awards, the most important ones need to be mentioned: the Swietokrzyskie Laurel in the 'Region's Enterprise' category and again the Ambassador of the Polish Economy in the Euro-Brand category or the Highest Quality Emblem QI 2012. The emblem was granted by the Gazeta Prawna Daily editors' of the Business Forum. The competition was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Regional Development, Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and the Polish ISO 9000 Forum.
In 2013, the Targi Kielce's list of accolades was extended to include another Ambassador of the Polish Economy title, Swietokrzyskie Economic Award - the Wings , the eight diamond to the Golden Statuette of Polish Business Leader and the title of the Good Employer awarded by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna Daily.
The company owns and operates 7 fully equipped exhibition halls including the E hall; the most state-of-the-art exhibition pavilion in Poland as well as extensive outdoor exhibition space and the open area for dynamic shows. The Kielce trade fair and exhibition organiser puts at their clients’ disposal 90 000 square metres of exhibition space including 36 000 m2 of the pavilion exhibition space. Every year Kielce exhibition centre attracts 200 000 trade fair guests and visitors as well as and 5 500 exhibitors from 56 countries; the lease rate is 175 000 sqm.
Targi Kielce Congress Centre is the professional event organizer; the centre has the perfect infrastructure to hold congresses, concerts, banquets, sports events; and to host 4500 guests and participants. From 2013 the company will operate an additional state-of-the-art-and-technology congress venue. For the last few months the area next to the exhibition halls has been a busy construction site – this is the place where the new Congress Centre is being created. Targi Kielce Congress Centre, owing to non-standard solutions will serve numerous functions. Mobile walls and a “movable auditorium” will make it possible to organize both the major events like congresses, concerts, conferences and also smaller seminars or cosy atmosphere exhibitions and vernissages. The building will host over 1000 people; the venue will also be equipped with a multi-layer underground parking space. One of the construction elements of the Congress Centre will be a 57 metre high viewing tower with a banquet room in it. This construction work on the 20 mln USD worth investment is planned to be completed in 2013. The whole value of Targi Kielce extension 2007-2013 (in the near future there will be also multilevel parking and new west entrance terminal) is near 60 mln USD.

Targi Kielce is located in the western part of the city, near Kielce-West road junction (trunk-roads number S7 - Warsaw and Krakow and 74 - and Łódź and Lublin). Convenient transport system connections - Targi Kielce can be accessed directly off the S7 and 74 roads.
The total exhibition grounds area - 90 000 m2. Expo Halls (the seven interconnected halls) of a total area 36 000 m 2 - equipped with all kinds of utilities necessary for exhibition purposes (power and water supply, compressed air, telephone network, Internet, air conditioning system). Full bathroom and toiled facilities, catering outlets, technical backup facilities, sound system also available in the expo halls. In the indoor fair-ground area there are the two, self-contained restaurants (high standard), two fast food outlets and two coffee bars .
The exhibition facilities can be entered through the modern entry terminals (eastern and western side) equipped with electronic registration systems for exhibitors and visitors. Additionally, the fairgrounds can be entered via 6 independent gateways. The outdoor area can be used as presentation-grounds, exhibition area or parking lot for the participants. Possibility of holding parallel, independent events of various nature in different facilities, expo halls and rooms.
