While yesterday it was in the air, today it is present in the water and tomorrow it will be in the soil. What is it? A drop of water, a gas bubble or a grain of sand?
There is no simple answer to this question. Water, air and soil are strongly related. That doesnt make it easy to classify a solution for an environmental problem.
The Trevi strategy is using a wide approach for each environmental problem, involving a team of environmentalists, all experts in their own environmental field. Our first concern is to achieve a maximum reduction at the source, which has been our main objective ever since the beginning in 1992.
Thanks to an enthusiastic team of people with different specialities, Trevi can handle most projects from start to finish with its own experienced staff. Indeed, the diversity of employees is one of the keystones of Trevi: laboratory assistants, environmentalists, technical designers, welders, mechanical engineers, electricians, programmers and project engineers, all working together for a better environment.
Every project, big or small, is continuously increasing our know-how, resulting in a growing competence for the next project. As a result, Trevi offers a wealth of experience in environmental advice and technology in a wide range of environmental fields. All this is illustrated on this website.
To realise the most effective solution for your environmental issues, Trevi uses preferably the next strategy:
Environmental audit and analyses
An environmental audit offers the perfect impulse to proposals concerning resources restraint or preventive measures. Basic principle is the thorough evaluation of the production processes and an inventory of incoming and outgoing streams. By means of the updrawn balances wastestreams and emissions can be reduced at the source. Often this means important savings for your company.
Trevi has a broad fleet of mobile pilot plants to examine thoroughly the feasibility of a purification concept on an industrial scale. All parameters necessary for the extact dimensioning of the final plant are watched closely under actual circumstances. These pilot plants can also be set in as final installations for smaller contamination loads or volumes.
Design and realisation
Based upon the results of a pilot test a design of a final plant is drawn up. This could be a completely new treatment plant, as well as an optimisation of an existing treatment plant. Every part of the tackling is executed on our own account, since Trevi disposes of a wide experienced staff of process experts, programmers and installers.
Start-up, follow-up and exploitation
After realisation Trevi can coach the start-up and the follow-up. The clients personnel recieves a thorough education and with the guidance of an operating manual framed by Trevi the exploitation of the treatment plant can be under control. Besides also a permanent monitoring and operation is possible by means of a remote controlled steering. Different possibiliteis for the operation can be offered, from a small periodic audit to a complete outsourcing of the exploitation.
