It’s another thing to get somebody who will give you the peace of mind of knowing that in the event of a problem you will have access to a comprehensive technical support service 24/7. This is particularly important if you’re located at a remote mine site where you don’t have qualified maintenance people on hand. One thing that Tristar Water Solutions always keeps in mind is that operators in charge of treatment plants sometimes have limited technical skills. In addition, there are often frequent personnel changes. To overcome this problem, all standard plants are provided with simple control systems requiring little involvement by the plant operator.
These systems are often PLC based (programmable logic control) utilising simple touch screen control. However, smaller plants typically make use of more economical traditional relay logic control systems. Remote monitoring can be provided.
Tristar also places major emphasis on training whoever is placed in charge of our plants. We recommend that we undertake servicing and maintenance of your wastewater or potable water plant at three-month intervals in accordance with Health Department guidelines. We are also fully equipped to service our competitors’ plants.
Should there be a problem at any time, we can normally troubleshoot over the phone. By using the latest in technology we make it easy for the operator to help us identify any area worthy of attention. However, if necessary, we will get to the site as quickly as possible.
