Water Line, whose industrial activity began in 1973, has started its operation in the field of mobile and stationary plants for water emergency situations, developing and manufacturing systems for the treatment and packing of water in plastic bags for governmental agencies and human associations. At the beginning of ’90ies Water Line considered to diversify its production, selling not only to the government agencies but also to the privately-owned companies of the food and non food fields. As some carried out researches evidenced that, more and more for economic and ecological reasons, the market of the food and non-food industry was oriented to packaging having low cost and at the same an environmental friendly approach, Water Line started developing a new machine called Ritepak that, starting from film reel, was able to form a stand-up pouch and fill it up, all in a single line.
In year 2000 Water Line has been charged by an important pouch maker to design a machine able to produce pre-formed stand-up pouches: the challenge was taken and the Ritebag line came on stage. Since then, big steps have been done and Water Line is now proud to be one of the most brilliant producers of machines for the forming and sealing of pouches, bags and special packaging. Besides the standard packaging machines Water Line also develops special machines for the production of medical packaging and Pet Food packaging, fields where the request in terms of quality and design is very high.
New 3D design technologies, advanced production processes, high performances combined with customer orientation, staff expertise and machines flexibility have enabled Water Line to acquire important market shares, becoming one of the most influential actors on the market.
