Welcome to Z-Filter - Improving the world's environment a litre at a time!In a modern society, many products rely on processing, and much of that processing involves de-watering. Z-Filter is a unique system for transporting and processing free-flowing materials. It relies upon its filtering capabilities to contain the desired material while allowing that material to be processed. It is a compact, high-throughput system, easily adapted for different applications.
A simple idea with a big future - In its simplest form, it is an ideal de-watering and filtering system, which is continuous and selfcleaning. Beyond that, it can move the contained material through additional processes and deliver it to an output point.It uses a tubular loop of filter fabric (the Sock) which opens to accept the material, closes to hold it throughput the processing, and then opens again to discharge it. This Sock allows Z-Filter to hold the required material in a suspended form long enough for gravity to act as the primary dewatering agent. Key to its high performance is the fact that it is a continuous process – it does not operate intermittently or in batches – more akin to a conveyor system, continuously delivering processed material.
