  • Biogas for Cooking

    This solution comprises a Biogas Digester of desired capacity working with specific substrate as input. It may or may not have H2S scrubbing system, depending on the quantity of H2S in the biogas and the requirement by the customer for cleaning it. As the heating value of biogas is almost half that of cooking LPG, specially designed biogas burners are provided to improve cooking speed.   • Flaring Solutions for the Landfill Industry - Leachate Evaporation

    Increased concern for the environment has led to new opportunities for landfills to better manage their waste gas. ABUTEC works with the landfill industry to ensure that leachate evaporation is handled in the most efficient way possible. ABUTEC’s high temperature enclosed combustors meet state and federal regulations for burning landfill waste gas at a minimum of 99% destruction and removal efficiency (DRE), meaning almost 100 percent of the vapor to be destroyed is converted to CO and water. These combustors are of high quality, flexibility, low emissions, CSA-approved and able to burn very low calorific gas. When combined with a heat exchanger, the unit can efficiently evaporate the leachate eliminating the need for expensive trucking or disposal.

  • Waste gas treatment for the TFT industry

    Manufacturing TFT/LCD displays requires waste gas treatment as well. Processes that produce large scale Thinfilm Transistors (TFT) on glass substrates, for instance, use Chemical Vapour Deposition – CVD – to separate the thin films onto the material. The process requires cleaning the process chamber periodically and usually employs etching with NF3. Etching of the separated thin films typically utilises CF4, SF6 and chlorinated gases, which release large amounts of waste gas mixtures.

    Fly Ash - Industrial Vacuum

    Fly Ash can cause many problems. The Vac-Con & Vector Pneumatic Vacuum systems can assist and solve many of these problems. Any of these systems can be integrated into the existing power plant design. Vac-Con Truck mounted Industrial vacuum systems are equipped with large storage debris tanks with self-cleaning intake filter systems. The Industrial Trucks vacuum the waste products through existing manifold piping or with hoses attached directly to the debris tank. When fully loaded, the truck can then drive directly to the disposal site and discharge the waste products. The Industrial Truck offers a great amount of flexibility of operation and can be utilized anywhere in your facility for many different types of normal and emergency maintenance operations. The Vac-Con Industrial Vacuum Truck can be utilized on both wet and dry materials. The same Vac-Con truck can be used for removing Fly Ash from your plant, coal from broken intake belt conveyors, or used to suck wet muddy material from storage lagoons. The Vector Trailer mounted Vacuum Systems are designed to be used in several locations around power plants. The Trailer mounted Vacuum Systems connect to Manifold piping located in key areas within your power plant. The Vacuum systems move the waste products from the plant and deposit these products into moveable storage containers. The loaded storage containers when full can then be moved to the disposal sites for discharge. Vector Static Mounted Vacuum systems are designed to vacuum and remove Fly Ash and other bulk waste products through manifold piping from operational areas of the plant and deposit these waste products into collection storage silos for later transport to disposal sites.
