2016 Peterborough Engineering Symposium (PES)

The annual Peterborough Engineering Symposium (PES) is an initiative promoted by IEEE, OACETT and PEO that allows technical and non-technical people, including professionals, life-long learners, educators and people with intellectual curiosity to explore leading-edge technologies and follow inspiring progress through interaction with creators and experts. The 2016 PES will focus on the” Internet of Things” (IoT) as one of the most exciting technological innovations of our time. We are witness to an unprecedented era of connectedness where the exchange of ideas and transfer of information occurs in an instant. The event will provide an enhanced understanding surrounding the far reaching benefits of this amazing tool and will explore anxieties related to privacy and security.
