Operator Workshop – Wetumpka 2018


The AWEA Wastewater Treatment Committee is pleased to announce the first Wastewater Treatment/Operator Training workshop for 2018! This FREE workshop will be hosted at the Wetumpka Water Works and Sewer Board on Thursday, March 8th, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Topics of this workshop will include microbiology, secondary clarification, laboratory practices and procedures. A demonstration of microbiology identification utilizing a microscope and TV will also be conducted. Attendees are encouraged to bring mixed liquor samples from their facility. It is anticipated that up to 6 CEUs will be offered. A final schedule will be posted on the AWEA site prior to the workshop.

Registration for this workshop is required and will be limited to 40 persons. Anyone interested in attending this workshop is encouraged to preregister as soon as possible.
