OSHA 10 Hour Construction Course
The OSHA 10 Hour Construction training program was designed by OSHA as a safety orientation for the entry level employee and general laborers. The objective of this construction safety course is to teach participants the importance of hazard recognition on a work site. This training is applicable to workers in the following industries: - All Construction Trades - Oil and Gas - Wind and Solar Energy - Facility Maintenance Topics of Discussion Include: - Introduction to OSHA - OSHA Focus Four - Personal Protective Equipment - Health Hazards in Construction - Stairways and Ladders - Trenching/Excavations - Hand and Power Tools - Scaffolds - Cranes, Derricks, Hoists - Other Construction Related Topics A US Department of Labor (OSHA) wallet card will be obtained for each student who completes the course. These cards take approximately 4-6 weeks to arrive. The OSHA 10 Hour is an instructor-led training course. It takes place over 1/12 days and is held monthly in Denver, Colorado.
