Wastewater Treatment, LEVEL I & II Course
This course will be offered as a combined Level I and II course with topics relevant to Wastewater Treatment. It will provide operators with the basic knowledge of wastewater treatment plant components and treatment methods used with varying degrees of complexity.

The intermediate portion will cover all core areas of wastewater treatment including:
- Detailed treatment processes and systems
- Emerging technologies
- Complex chlorine and chemical problem solving involving flow and filtration rate
- Enhanced safety components
- Troubleshooting tips
- Maintenance details
- Introductory management practices
It will cover a variety of practical applications for Atlantic Canada and is recommended for operations staff who maintain Level I and II facilities.
This course is four days in length. Course manual and other material will be sent to the training facility for each attendee.
It is important to register early to ensure course manuals are ordered. Last minute cancellations and no shows will be responsible for the payment of the course manual. Manuals will be mailed out to those who are not in attendance after the course.
