The remediation division of Anguil Environmental Systems (formerly known as Global Technologies) is focused on treating emissions and water contaminants extracted from below the earths` surface. Formed shortly after the 1990 Clean Air Act targeted emissions associated with the extraction of polluted compounds from contaminated sites, Global subsurface remediation equipment has been successfully applied on contaminated sites in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
Contamination of circuit boards can bring about severe degradation of insulation resistance and dielectric strength. Cleanliness of completed circuit boards is, therefore, of vital interest. For those companies who have established circuit board cleaning procedures, the MIL Spec P-28809 has been used as a guideline for control. Now a simple `on line` test for the relative measurement of ionic contamination has been developed. This fast and economical method for testing circuit board cleanliness uses a Myron L...
The suitability of the new cleanup sorbent, Supel QuE Z-Sep+, has been successfully demonstrated for cleanup of beef kidney matrix. It was found to effectively reduce background without significantly reducing recovery of lipophilic pesticides such as organochlorines and some pyrethroids. GC-MS full-scan data indicated Z-Sep+ was found to provide better cleanup in the form of reduced background than PSA/C18, and less interference in the GC-MS/SIM analysis of the target pesticides themselves.
Measuring groundwater level or depth-to-water is critically important for identifying long term trends, including declining water levels, saltwater intrusion, seasonal variations, aquifer recharge, artificial aquifer storage and recovery, and level status for drinking water. Receiving groundwater data via remote data transmission from one of the many OTT telemetry options available saves time and resources spent in the field.
To produce efficiently several feed formulations starting from continuously changing raw materials and premixes, require flexible and accurate analytical and formulation technologies. BUCHI offers dedicated solutions for the entire value chain: from R&D and QC Laboratories to the production lines.
HITEMA with its range of product solutions is able to grant an energy and water saving maintaining a precise an stable temperature control for the operations of welding machines, for precision machine tools, metal cleaning processes where the precise cutting oil and hydraulic fluid temperature permit high speed operations and low maintenance costs, it permits also to increase the productivity and the lifetime of the machining center.
Since its foundation more than 25 years ago, HITEMA has developed a high level of experience in chemical and pharmaceutical processes that require thermal controls that can include a simple cooling or heating and, sometimes, precise cycles of temperature and timing, also granting a very high control precision for the necessary temperatures, high level of unit reliability, high efficiency; Upon request, the units can be supplied with stainless steel hydraulic covers and circuits.
Oxidation Reduction Potential or Redox is the activity or strength of oxidizers and reducers in relation to their concentration. Oxidizers accept electrons, reducers lose electrons. Examples of oxidizers are: chlorine, hydrogen peroxide, bromine, ozone, and chlorine dioxide. Examples of reducers are sodium sulfite, sodium bisulfate and hydrogen sulfide. Like acidity and alkalinity, the increase of one is at the expense of the other.
Measurement of water quality in coastal regions and estuaries is critical in the characterization of hypoxic ‘dead zones’ as a result of nutrient loading and algal blooms in the water bodies. Sediment loading analysis through turbidity measurement is also important for coastal trend identification and modeling. Hydrolab and Sea-bird Coastal offer a variety of multiparameter water quality instrumentation and nutrient sensors for long-term coastal applications.
Achieving cost effective local regulatory compliance in the printing and converting industry requires a complete understanding of both regulatory standards and the printing process. Through experience, Anguil has developed unparalleled expertise in meeting your unique requirements. We understand the effects of water versus solvent-based inks on the line, elimination of odors and toxic fumes from dryers and oven tunnel exhausts, and the capture of fugitive emissions. Over 300 successful printing installations...
For this specific chiller applications which includes injection moulding , recycling, film blowing, extrusion, thermoforming and other applications HITEMA is able to grant high unit reliability and the cooling temperature control to achieve the targets of production capacity with also the aim to reduce the duration of production cycles and for energy and maintenance costs reduction.
The US FDA and international regulatory agencies have set contamination levels for aflatoxins in animal feedstuffs. Since Aspergillus may infect commodities pre-harvest, during storage or during processing, monitoring for aflatoxins in associated agricultural
commodities at all stages of production is requisite. Field screening methods exist that are adequate to estimate contamination levels for aflatoxins. When additional confirmation or quantification is desired,
chromatographic laboratory analysis is often...
Education and research count on intuitive, flexible and expandable laboratory equipment. BUCHI possesses elaborated solutions for various steps in academic laboratories covering a wide range of applications.
The Adsorbent Tube Injector System (ATIS) was developed at Supelco® by R&D Scientists, as a tool to assist in our comprehensive adsorbent research for thermal desorption tubes. The ATIS provides an efficient means of transferring calibration standards in either the gas or liquid phase onto the adsorbent packed tubes.
The ATIS employs the technique of flash vaporization to vaporize the sample in a continuous flow of inert gas; the inert gas carries the sample to the tube. The sample pathway of the ATIS is construct...
