Solutions for the in-situ soil remediation

by The BioSolve Company     based in Lexington, MASSACHUSETTS (USA)

For over twenty years, BioSolve Pinkwater has been used for Surfactant Enhanced Remediation (SER) to mobilize and solubilize residual NAPL[i], facilitating its recovery and disposal. Depending on soil and plume characteristics, Pinkwater solution can reach contaminated zones through deep injection wells or be gravity fed from surface level injection galleries. After desorbing residual NAPL from soil surfaces on contact, Pinkwater then solubilizes the hydrocarbons in an aqueous emulsion, enabling extraction at down gradient recovery wells or trenches.

Microbial Studies

by Hiden Analytical     based in Warrington, UNITED KINGDOM

Hiden gas analysis systems provide for high sensitivity, wide dynamic range, real-time analysis of almost any gas/vapour. Hiden’s application specific gas analysis systems are tailored to meet the specific application requirements, & include a range of special sampling, vacuum pumping & vacuum accessories. Hot zone sampling accessories are included for evolved gas analysis from furnaces, & thermo gravimetric analysers, TGA, for example. Thermal analysis methods are vital for catalysis characterization. For thermal analysis including TPD/TPO/TPR studies, Hiden gas analysis systems include enhanced pumping for hydrogen & special close coupled sampling to the TPD/TPO/TPR reactor for optimum thermal analysis response. In Biogas applications the simultaneous analysis of H2S, CO2, water vapour & CH4 in the PPM to 100% concentration range provides vital information for process development and process monitoring.

Sampling for the water and wastewater industry

by Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group     based in Falmouth, UNITED KINGDOM

Sampling requirements in the water and waste water treatment industry demand safe and reliable pump control. Many sampling applications require a suction lift. There is no better suction lift than that achieven using a peristaltic oump which lift up to 30 feet. Watson-Marlow pumps are perfect for automatic or manual sampling at the different stages of the treatment process.
