Phoenix, AZ, May 19th, 2011 -- How could people be given quick and easy to understand information about IAQ, environmental and food safety issues asked Paul Cochrane, the founder of the IAQ Video Network in March of 2010? Pondering this question one day at the annual Indoor Air Quality Association Conference taking place in Tampa he came across an idea that has helped educate more than 10,000 people about health and safety issues that directly impact their families.
Today, the IAQ Video Network is proud to announce that over 10,000 people have viewed their educational online videos in the past year. “It took us 6 to 9 months to build up our library of short informational videos that talked to the average person about important health and safety issues that impact their families on a daily basis,” reported Paul Cochrane, the founder of Cochrane & Associates, LLC, the company behind the IAQ Video Network. “We started with a trickle of viewers each day and now approach over 250 on a busy day. So far we have produced videos on everything from radon, formaldehyde, Aspergillus, Stachybotrys, IAQ in schools, asthma, IAQ issues following a flood, and so much more. In addition, we have reported on a number of related industry conferences including the EIA, IAQA, ACCA, AIHce, and others to provide a snapshot of what was going on at these events for environmental professionals who were not able to attend. It’s been a great year and we are excited about the future as we have many more videos in the works and hope to continue to provide information that helps keep people and their families safe,” he continued.
