UltraViolet Devices (UVDI) will be showcasing the latest indoor air quality (IAQ) solutions later this month.
From January 31st through February 2nd over 45,000 visitors from all 50 states and 120 countries will be attending the 2011 AHR EXPO in Las Vegas, Nevada. The AHR EXPO is the world’s largest HVACR exposition.
One of the most anticipated exhibits at this year’s event is from UVDI, the industry leading provider of ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) and molecular filtration products to the HVACR industry. UVDI will be displaying innovative technology and products from their ALTRU –V and Sparks Technology brands.
HVAC professionals attend the AHR Expo each year to learn about the latest products that improve IAQ and energy efficiency as well as research new sustainable technologies. Last year UVDI introduced the V-RAY GRID Healthy Building System. Since then the product has been a hit with HVACR professionals and building owners and managers
UltraViolet Devices’ UVGI products are designed to implement ASHRAE's suggested general strategy for the use of UVGI in ventilating ducts for reducing transmission of airborne infectious diseases. “Since most people spend up to 90% of their time in indoor environments, improving indoor air quality is a major concern,” reported Paul Cochrane, Public Relations Manager for UVDI. “UVDI’s products not only improve IAQ, but also reduce energy consumption and lower HVACR maintenance costs.”
