On February 15th, 2011, indoor air quality professionals from across the globe converged in San Antonio, Texas for the largest dedicated Indoor Air Expo in the nation. This year’s conference was called “The Summit for Healthy Home and Healthy Building Professionals.”
For the third year in a row the exposition halls of the Indoor Air Expo were shared with members from both the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), who celebrated their 43rd annual meeting, and the Indoor Air Quality Association’s (IAQA) who had their 14th annual meeting. For this year’s event, the Radiant Professionals Alliance (RPA) also participated in the event.
Multiple educational tracks took place over several days allowing attendees the opportunity to learn new skills and interact with their peers. Close to 200 companies and associations exhibited. Such well known industry institutions as EMSL Analytical, UltraViolet Devices (UVDI), Legends Environmental Insurance Services, Mycometer, EnvironmentalReports and CRAL were on hand to name just a few.
“The Indoor Air Expo is truly the place to learn new skills and see firsthand the latest technologies that impact IAQ professionals and their customers,” reported Paul Cochrane, President of Cochrane and Associates, the company behind the IAQ Video Network. “Companies involved in the IAQ industry should attend this important conference. From excellent educational tracts and innovative products and services, to what may be the Indoor Air Expo’s greatest benefit, a chance to network with peers.”
Next year’s Indoor Air Expo will take place in early 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. To view the 2011 Indoor Air Expo video, please visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_1r-8XlI54 or http://www.iaqtv.com/.
