2014 Stockholm Water Prize Laureate to be announced on World Water Day

At 09.00 AM CET on Friday 21 March, in connection with the UN World Water Day celebrations, Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) will announce the winner of the 2014 Stockholm Water Prize.

Stockholm, Sweden -- ournalists based in Sweden are welcome to attend the announcement, which will be made at a seminar on energy and water at Grand Hôtel in Stockholm. The seminar, which is organised by a number of Swedish organisations, will feature both water and energy experts and Swedish politicians. More information about the event is available here.

The Stockholm Water Prize Laureate will not be present at the announcement, but is available for interview by request.

First presented in 1991, Stockholm Water Prize is the world’s most prominent award for outstanding achievements in water-related activities. H.M.
