2015 starts in Rwanda with over 470,000 people who now have access to water filters and improved cookstoves, many for the first time in their lives. Our team of nearly 1,000 people have worked non-stop for six months to make this a reality, after more than 10 years of learning, trying, failing, and trying again.
Our team is scaling this work now across Rwanda, on track to reach 550,000 households by the end of the year. These products and our on-going health education work will try to improve the health and environment for millions of people by the end of 2015.
