2015 U.S. Water Prize Ceremony Honoring 3 Winners

On Monday, April 13, the U.S. Water Prize, presented by the U.S. Water Alliance, will celebrate the outstanding work of three organizations that have made a significant achievement in the advancement of sustainable solutions to our nation's water quality and quantity challenges.

This year’s winners are the City of San Diego Public Utilities Department, The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) and The Coca-Cola Company.

The keynote address will be given by the Honorable Kathryn D. Sullivan, Ph.D., Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere and NOAA Administrator.

  • City of San Diego Public Utilities Department, California, introductory remarks by Melissa Meeker, Executive Director, WateReuse, award accepted by Halla Razak, Director of Public Utilities, City of San Diego
  • Electric Power Research Institute, Palo Alto, California, introductory remarks by Bob Perciasepe, President, Center for Climate and Energy Solutions, accepted by Jessica Fox, Technical Executive, EPRI
  • The Coca-Cola Company, Atlanta, Georgia, introductory remarks by Ambassador Harriet Babbitt, accepted by Sandy Douglas, President, Coca-Cola North America
