The organisers of the III International Congress Smallwat. Wastewater in Small Communities have drawn up a list of scientists and experts who will sit on of the Scientific Committee of the Conference, including representatives of the highest international prestige from the academic world and the research community working in the field of the treatment and purification of wastewater.
The Scientific Committee is chaired by Doctor George Tchobanoglous, Emeritus Professor at the University of California in Davis, one of the leading authorities in the treatment, purification and management of wastewater in small communities. Backed up by a research career that goes back more than 30 years, the Professor is the author and co-author of more than 300 scientific articles and 12 publications which have served as a study guide for thousands of university students all over the world. As well as forming part of the Scientific Committee, Doctor Tchobanoglous will give a keynote speech at the opening session of the Conference, on 25 April 2011 in Seville (Spain).
As well as Dr Tchobanoglous, the Committee includes scientific authorities from all over the world (Europe, United States, Latin America, Africa, Asia and Australia) from universities and research centres whose extensive work on the treatment and purification of wastewater has brought them recognised international prestige.
