“Our goal is to further develop the management and reporting processes for our non-financial information, in addition to enhancing the use of non-financial performance data as part of our management systems,” said development manager Ulla Rehell from Kesko.
The EnQ CSM application allows Kesko to manage documentation and to collect, consolidate, analyse and report sustainability performance data from different corporate systems and locations according to international guidelines such as the GRI reporting guidelines and related technical protocols. The data gathered will be used for internal performance management and reporting as well as for consolidating data for annual GRI-based sustainability reporting and other stakeholder reporting.
“We are very happy about Kesko’s decision to implement our non-financial management and reporting solution. We believe that the importance of systematic monitoring and analyzing of non-financial data will increase, and that the tools and processes of financial reporting will also be applied to non-financial performance measurement and reporting. Our solution enables the integration of non-financials to financial performance measurement in such a way that management is able to gain a more thorough picture of the organisation's performance. An integrated system also allows corporate responsibility issues to be truly integrated into existing decision-making processes,” said Product Manager Tomi Pajunen from Proventia Solutions and Mika Salminen, MD of Hyperion Finland.
