3E Company, a leading provider of environmental health and safety (EH&S) compliance and information management services, today announced that two of its solutions have won 2011 New Product of the Year Awards from Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) magazine. This is the second consecutive year that 3E Company has won two New Product of the Year Awards.

Ariel WebInsight™, an online chemical regulatory compliance reference tool, was recognized in the EH&S software category, and 3E Global Incident Response Hotline, a service that supports the global distribution of hazardous materials, was recognized in the emergency response category. Over the last two years, the company has won New Product of the Year Awards in three distinct categories, underscoring the depth, breadth, and quality of 3E's vast suite of products and services.

'We are exceedingly proud of our product line's track record of multiple award wins,' said Robert S. Christie, CEO and president, 3E Company. 'We remain committed to achieving excellence across the supply chain, and we are pleased that our achievements have been validated by the New Product of the Year judges. No other vendor in our space has shown this magnitude of industry award wins. It is an especially great win for us, bringing tremendous credibility, given the New Product of the Year Awards' status as one of the only independent product reviews in our industry.'

OH&S magazine's annual New Product of the Year contest attracted a new high of 49 products in 20 categories, with an independent panel of three highly qualified judges choosing the winners.  Key capabilities in the winning products included WebInsight's Green Score Analysis module, which provides access to critical information needed to quickly assess the EH&S regulatory and sustainability footprint of chemical products and aid in the development and selection of safer and more environmentally friendly ingredients. 3E's Global Incident Response Hotline was recognized for offering a single point of contact for reliable 24/7 international hotline infrastructure to aid with chemical product stewardship initiatives.

'3E won two awards again this year, which is an unprecedented achievement reflecting the company's unwavering commitment to continually developing innovative and practical solutions for the wide range of initiatives associated with environmental regulatory compliance,' said Jerry Laws, editor of OH&S magazine. 'As the regulatory landscape continues to shift and become more complex, the demand for solutions from trusted service providers such as 3E will continue to grow.'

The award winners were announced at the OH&S Virtual Event on August 31, 2011. The winners will be presented with awards at the National Safety Council Congress and Expo, October 30 to November 4, 2011, in Philadelphia, Penn. The winners will also be highlighted in the magazine's December 2011 issue.
