3P Instruments at the Analytica in Munich (31/03-03/04) – Hall A2, Booth 516A

During the exhibition days, our product specialists are ready to give you comprehensive advice on the characterization of particles, powders, dispersions and porous materials and discuss special measurement tasks.
We will show some analytical instruments live, a special highlight will be the live measurements with the Bettersizer S3 Plus for the determination of particle size and shape. What is so special? In addition to laser diffraction, this instrument allows image analysis: You can see the particles that you are measuring! Two high-speed CCD cameras record the particles and analyze their shape and size. Especially the simple software for the control of two measuring methods in one measuring device is convincing. In addition, you can get information at the 3P booth about the reference method for direct stability analysis of dispersions: the Turbiscan TOWER developed by the market leader Formulaction will be part of our booth. It determines the stability by means of multiple light scattering up to 200 times faster than the human eye and without centrifugation or dilution of the samples at up to six measuring stations under controlled temperature.
If you are interested in the characterization of porous materials and powders, we have two new instruments for you at our booth. For the first time, we will present the cryoTune series – a temperature controller for almost all commercially available volumetric gas adsorption analyzers. The cryoTune covers a temperature range of 77 – 323 K for sorption measurements and requires only liquid nitrogen for cooling. The cryoTune operates noiseless, energy saving and without additional space requirements in the laboratory.
In connection with this, we are also presenting the new 3P sync sorption device series for the first time: a device platform with up to four measuring stations and a separate p0 measuring cell for the simultaneous measurement of the saturation vapour pressure. The measuring cells are tempered by one single Dewar. Thus, the 3P sync enables the optimization of high sample throughput with the smallest possible space requirement and minimum liquid nitrogen consumption. The 3P sync can also be used with the cryoTune option for Ar 87 K and other applications.
