November 15, 2005 – Intertech Conferences has announced the dates and location for its third annual conference on hydrogen production and storage technologies. The conference, “H2PS: The 2006 Hydrogen Production & Storage Forum,” will be held September 11-13, 2006 at the Renaissance Vancouver Hotel Harbourside in Vancouver, BC Canada.

H2PS 2006 is a forum for developers, producers, and users to discuss the long-term potential and commercial opportunities for production and storage hydrogen technology, both on large and small scales. The conference will be devoted to providing maximum information exchange to help technologists developing the infrastructure, emerging applications, and new ways to reduce generation, storage, and deployment costs.

Over 100 executives are expected to attend – including business development managers, R&D specialists, technology planners, and venture capitalists, as well as anyone connected with applications where hydrogen will play a key role, such as transportation, electric power generation and mobile battery-powered devices like notebook computers and cell phones.

The conference will be an excellent opportunity to become acquainted with the technological issues that will determine the fate of the hydrogen economy. Past participation has prompted positive comments such as, “My assessment of the hydrogen economy has changed because of studies shared by a number of participants,” and “Broad scope, in depth; this is the pulse of the industry, our future”.

Speaker recruitment for this conference is now underway.
