Lansing, MI -- On September 26th, health, safety and environmental professionals from across the globe will converge at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta for the 2015 National Safety Council Congress & Expo. Over 14,000 professionals will be in attendance from a broad spectrum of industries, institutions and organizations to learn and network with their peers.
This will be the first time in several years that the American Board of Industrial Hygiene® will join over 1,000 other exhibitors at this strategic conference. Many of the conference attendees will be from the industrial hygiene profession and have earned the prestigious Certified Industrial Hygienist® (CIH®) credential administered by ABIH®. The National Safety Council Congress & Expo is an excellent opportunity for CIHs to earn certification maintenance (CM) points by attending educational sessions and other activities during the conference.
The National Safety Council Congress & Expo is an important industry event and offers multiple days of learning opportunities, educational sessions and chances to network with other dedicated industry professionals. Key components of this event include general safety; personal and fall protection; occupational health; hazard control; ergonomics; emergency response; environmental protection; and risk management.
“This is an excellent opportunity for ABIH® to once again participate and expand its personal contacts at the National Safety Council Congress & Expo,” said Nicole Greeson, CIH® and Chair of ABIH®. “We look forward to meeting the global community of professionals drawn to this event who are interested in the Certified Industrial Hygienist® credential, and interacting with the CIHs and CAIHs who will be in attendance. ABIH® will have its booth staffed to answer questions about certification requirements to become a CIH® and to explain the many ways that certification can make a lifelong change to one’s professional career.”
ABIH is exhibiting at booth #3015.
