Pickling vents purification system is directly connected to the hollow shaft of the pickling drum(s). The singe drum is then dump, and when the operator opens the door to evacuate processed leathers, fresh air enters the door instead of permit gaseous fugitive emissions around the drum department. 

Acid fumes pass through the packed column scrubber in countercurrent flow (from the bottom to the top of the tower) and passes through the packed bed (filledwith PALL-RINGS) where absorption process takes place.
