We are proud to announce that DMT and our partner for the United Kingdom Heat & Power Services have been awarded the UK AD& Biogas Industry award 2013 in the category ‘Making the most of biogas’. DMT received the award for its landmark project at Poundbury where in cooperation with Scotia Gas Networks and JV Energen the first commercial biogas upgrading facility in the UK was commissioned. Since then more than 2.000.000m3 of renewable gas has been injected in the grid.
Poundbury is a thriving new urban development on the outskirts of Dorchester, West Dorset. It was designed by the Prince of Wales who outlined his pioneering ideas in his 1989 book, ‘A Vision of Britain’.
July 4-5, DMT has exhibited at the largest anaerobic digestion and biogas trade show in the UK organised and hosted by ADBA, the Anaerobic Digestion and Biogas Association. ADBA aims to realise the potential of the AD-industry and also organised the UK AD & Biogas Industry Awards 2013.
Congratulations to Heat & Power Services for this excellent achievement!
