Hampton Falls, NH -- AdEdge Technologies, Inc. installed its 100th small water system for arsenic and iron removal for the Lincoln Akerman School located in Hampton Falls, N.H.

Adedge was selected in 2006 by the Hampton Falls School District to design, fabricate and install a full-scale AD26 arsenic, iron and manganese treatment system for the Lincoln Akerman School in Hampton Falls. The Lincoln Akerman School has about 260 students in grades ranging from K through 8.

The latest in arsenic, iron and manganese removal technology, the AD26 modular oxidation/filtration treatment system is ideal for meeting the new arsenic standard and improving water quality. Systems are equipped with automatic controls, backwashing features, switches, gauges, flow meters, and sample ports for a complete functioning packaged unit. Using Adedge’s exclusive AD26 media, arsenic, iron, and manganese is removed in a single-process step.

“AdEdge developed AD26 systems for economical, effective use in small community and non-community public water system applications and residential applications throughout the U.S. and Canada,” said Rich Cavagnaro, President, AdEdge Technologies. “With 100 installed systems and many more ahead of us, the acceptance and success of our small system technology is rapidly growing.”

The Lincoln Akerman School AD26 system treats an average daily flow of 2,000 gallons, and is rated for 30 gallons per minute (gpm). Adedge AD26 media is certified under NSF Standard 61.

Based in Atlanta, Ga., AdEdge Technologies Inc. is a worldwide leader in the design and manufacturing of integrated, small water treatment systems that feature specialty adsorbents for arsenic and other contaminant removal from process or drinking water systems, environmental remediation, chemical, wastewater and pharmaceutical applications. Adedge also offers innovative filtration packages for aesthetic parameters such as iron and manganese, as stand-alone or hybrid-adsorption systems.
