ADS Environmental Services will receive the prestigious Innovative Technology Award from the Water Environment Federation (WEF), an international not-for-profit technical and educational water quality organization. The award will be presented during a ceremony at the organization’s 82nd annual technical exhibition and conference next week in Orlando, Fla.
The Innovative Technology Awards, which include the collection systems, instrumentation, process equipment, and solids handling & disposal categories, are presented annually to WEF associate members who have introduced new innovative products or services related to the construction, operation, or maintenance of treatment facilities. ADS Environmental Services is the only company receiving an innovative technology award this year. They are being recognized in the collection systems category for their Sliicer.com software. The software significantly reduces the amount of time required for engineers and municipalities to evaluate dry and wet weather flows, and to identify I & I in their collection systems.
ADS Environmental Services will be honored during WEFTEC®.09, the largest water quality event in North America and largest annual water quality exhibition in the world. More than 16,000 of the world’s leading water quality experts and 900 companies featuring the latest in water quality technology are expected at the Orange County Convention Center from October 10-14, 2009.
