FlowAlert utilizes two float switches to provide date-and time-stamped depth notification. An optional depth sensor logs actual depth readings for use in depth trending and flow calculation. The wireless communication platform instantly notifies up to three text or e-mail addresses of unusual flow conditions – low, high, and critical high depth. The unit is housed in a rugged, yet light-weight submersible enclosure. Advanced circuitry that minimizes power usage, providing exceptional battery life, is built into every FlowAlert.
FlowAlert is easy to operate and can be installed without confined space entry. It requires no external power, cabling or other infrastructure and is easy to configure with ADS Profile® flow monitoring software. FlowAlert is also fully compatible with ADS IntelliServe® and all alarm events, alarm history, and logged depth data can be accessed and managed over the Web. When combined with the new ADS RainAlert II™ and IntelliServe, the FlowAlert can distinguish between dry and wet weather overflows through this Web based event notification system.
