CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/14/11 -- Advanced ID Corporation (PINK SHEETS: AIDO) a leading developer of RFID solutions for supply chain applications, fleet operations, animal tracking and tire management announces that the company has signed an exclusive global partnership agreement with the company's distributor in South America, Americas Technologies Solutions Corporation (ATS). Advanced ID has also expanded the company's Board of Directors and management team.
The five year global agreement covers all sales in Advanced ID's core markets, including tire management, livestock tracing, conveyor monitoring and gas cylinders asset management. According to Eduardo Kuhner, the president of ATS, 'We are delighted to announce that all business generated by ATS will flow through Advanced ID Corporation. The partnership captures the full resources of both companies and the capability to better serve our customers is assured. In addition to Advanced ID (AID) announcing this ground breaking partnership agreement, the company is pleased to announce significant additions to the Advanced ID Board of Directors. Eduardo Kuhner, the president of ATS has been elected to the AID Board of Directors and as the Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Technical Operations. Mr. Mark Velci, one of the company's strongest financial supporters, has been elected to the Board of Directors as well. Seymour Kazimirski, the Board Chairman has resigned from the Board and Marl Velci has replaced Seymour as Board Chairman. We salute Seymour for his years of service on the Board of Directors and are pleased that he has agreed to join AID's Board of Advisors. This group will assist Advanced ID as it implements its plan to grow and attain profitability in the future.
Both Velci and Kuhner will join the management team at AID. Velci will assume financial management as Controller of AID and Kuhner will be VP of Sales, Marketing and Technical Operations. Dan Finch will remain as President and CEO of AID.
