CHICAGO, IL -- Remediation biotechnology firm announces opening of its Colombian regional office.
As part of ongoing efforts to expand deployment of 21st century environmental biotechnologies across the globe, The Adventus Group, a world leader in the soil, sediment, and groundwater remediation industry, is pleased to announce the formation of its independent office in Colombia, South America. With an office already established in Brazil, the increasing demand for access to scientifically defensible, field-proven, and cost-efficient technologies has driven establishment of a dedicated office in this rapidly developing country.
Business operations will be managed by Soul Annie Leal, of engineering partner SAAMECO—a local environmental services provider—who will serve as the Adventus point of contact in Colombia.
“Adventus staff has worked well with our engineering partner and local environmental remediation professionals in Colombia,” said Dr. Jim Mueller, President of Adventus Americas Inc., “to facilitate the introduction of In Situ Chemical Reduction (ISCR™) and other innovative biotechnologies to the region.” ISCR and other Adventus technologies have already been well received and effectively applied to remediate various impacted sites in the area.
“The formation of Adventus Colombia as an independent company allows us to better serve an increasing number of clients and technology end-users,” said Mueller. “Our commitment is to effectively serve the engineering community across Colombia by offering timely, confidential, and professional remedial design support and technology implementation.”
