Ahlstrom, a global high performance materials company, announces price increases on its beverage products as a consequence of the rise in raw material and energy costs.
The price increase will affect all beverage products worldwide and will be effective for all shipments made as of June 1, 2011. The increase will vary up to10 percent, depending on the products and markets. The specific details will be discussed with customers.
Ahlstrom's beverage products are part of the Food and Medical Business Area and their end-use applications include teabags and coffee filters.
