The course has been designed to suit Environmental Health & Technical Officers as well as newcomers to the AQM field or those needing a refresher or update on the latest equipment and techniques.
Course content includes the origin and background of air quality monitoring, current legislation and UK and EU objectives. Practical study includes continuous measurement and sampling techniques, gas analysis/monitoring, particulate measurements, site selection, calibration, QA/QC and data ratification.
"Last year we invested over £100,000 on a state-of-the-art training facility which means that, not only do our students benefit from working on fully networked PC's for theory work, but also they can benefit from being able to work practically on a comprehensive range of in-situ analysers and systems. This 60/40 split between theory and practical learning has benefited those new and experienced environmental
officers immensely. We appreciate that, within local authorities, environmental staff turnaround can be quite high and we have designed a course to make the transition into this role as smooth as possible."
The price for enrolment on Enviro Technology's one-day Air Quality Monitoring course starts at £450.00. For further information, or to book a place, please call Duncan Mounsor on 01453 733232 or send an email
