Air & Waste Management Association Announces the Power Plant Air Pollutant Control `MEGA` Symposium
The U.S. Department of Energy, the Electric Power Research Institute, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) will present the MEGA Symposium, August 30 - September 2, 2010 in Baltimore, MD. This conference will provide a detailed look at issues related to power plant air emissions.
“This internationally recognized conference will congregate industry professionals from around the world to discuss the latest available methods of reducing and managing power plant air emissions,” said Mike Kelly, A&WMA Executive Director. “We look forward to another successful symposium in 2010.”
The eighth MEGA Symposium will showcase the latest development and operational experience with air pollution controls from fossil-fired power plants in light of the evolving environmental regulatory directions, and will feature over 100 presentations examining state-of-the-art methods for reducing SOx, NOx, CO2, particulate, mercury, and other hazardous air pollutant emissions.
MEGA will also feature a sold out exhibition where over 60 exhibitors will be displaying the latest products, technologies, and services.
