Air & Waste Management Association issues call for abstracts for vapor intrusion conference
The Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) has issued a call for abstracts for Vapor Intrusion 2010, a conference to be held September 29-30, 2010, in Chicago, IL.
Vapor Intrusion 2010 will gather leading scientists, engineers, regulators, and attorneys to discuss the latest developments and innovations in regulatory policy, sampling, analysis, and vapor intrusion (VI) pathway control, and the complex technical, legal, and public relations challenges posed by VI.
A&WMA is seeking abstracts for presentations which demonstrate innovative, scientific approaches for investigation and remediation of the VI pathway. Abstracts should reflect original work that has not previously been published or presented. Suggested topics for platform presentations include, but are not limited to:
• Development and implementation of state and federal guidance documents
• Advancements in sampling and analytical methods
• Predictive modeling
• Litigation and other legal considerations
• Financial, insurance, and risk management considerations
• Toxicology and risk assessment
• Petroleum hydrocarbon site assessments
• Case studies
Abstracts of 300 words or less must be submitted to email@example.com by February 22, 2010.
