The Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) will present ”Harmonizing Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Assessment and Reporting Processes,” August 31-September 2, 2009, in Baltimore, MD. This conference will provide a forum to discuss advances in greenhouse gas emission estimation methods, emission inventories, and reporting.

“Reporting data plays an important role in determining the success of climate action plans and mitigation measures,” said Adrianne Carolla, A&WMA Executive Director, “Don’t miss this timely opportunity to examine methodologies for the characterization, calculation, and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions with industry experts.”

“Harmonizing GHG Assessment and Reporting Processes” will examine the convergence of mandatory and voluntary reporting initiatives, and emerging technical and policy issues. The conference will also offer two associated professional development courses, “Your GHG Program: Practical Considerations for Managing Greenhouse Gas Emissions in an Evolving Landscape,” and “Greenhouse Gas Emissions Management.”
