Air & Waste Management Association presents Pratical Sustainability conference
The Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) will present “Practical Sustainability,” a conference to be held May 7-8, 2009, in St. Louis, MO.
“As more attention is being paid to climate change, energy dependency, and greenhouse gas emissions, establishing energy and carbon management strategies has become a priority for organizations of all types,” said Adrianne Carolla, A&WMA Executive Director. “Environmental managers, software development managers, and consultants should not miss this chance to learn how to enact these strategies in a manner that results in their organization meeting expectations and exceeding benchmarks.”
“Practical Sustainability” will provide a forum for the exchange of information on how organizations are measuring and demonstrating sustainability in ways that make business sense. Session topics will include issues in strategy development; implementation and process management; data collection, analysis, and reporting; and recognition, incentive, and offset opportunities.
