Air & Waste Management Association presents symposium on greenhouse gas measurement
The Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) will present the First International Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Measurement Symposium March 22-24, 2009, in San Francisco, CA.
“One of the greatest challenges of our time is reducing GHG emissions to mitigate climate change,” said Adrianne Carolla, A&WMA Executive Director.
Greenhouse gas measurement and monitoring, and technological needs for accurate local, regional, national, and international monitoring systems will be discussed. Symposium participants will begin defining the technical problem of monitoring GHG emissions at multiple spatial scales, and discuss how to perform these measurements.
The First International GHG Measurement Symposium will feature an exhibit hall where exhibitors will be displaying the latest products, technologies, and services. The symposium will also offer an associated professional development course.
