Altius client company SGP Property & Facilities Management has re-branded as Bellrock.
The new name is inspired by the story of the Bell Rock lighthouse. Explaining the significance of the lighthouse, Martin Holt, CEO, Bellrock, said: “Bellrock stands as an inspiration to those prepared to challenge how people think and strive for a better way.”
He added. “Our role is to ensure that the properties we look after provide the best possible environment for clients to do what they do best. We have a novel approach that is cost-effective, collegial and flexible. I believe that there are leading segments of the market that are ready for a new way of working.”
Bellrock provides a property and facilities management service across 45,000 sites for high profile multi-site clients in retail, leisure and commercial sectors throughout the UK and Ireland. The company also manages long-term contracts for education, healthcare and central government clients.
Altius and Bellrock (then SGP) first partnered in 2008 to develop a robust supply chain compliance system, introduced initially to Bellrock’s clients, including NCP, Pizza Hut, Arcadia Group and Punch Taverns. Since then, the innovative supply chain compliance system has been adopted by the wider FM industry. ..
The Altius system, which integrates with Bellrock’s back office processes, reduces client risk and liability by ensuring contractors working on client’s premises are fully compliant against key measures. It was developed as a real-time web based assessment system that removes the risk of lapses in compliance. This dynamic model was selected rather than retrofitting a paper-based system to the web, which is the norm.
