Altius Vendor Assessment has won a five-year contract extension to manage supply chain compliance for SGP Property and Facilities Management.
SGP, which manages 45,000 sites on behalf of clients such as, NCP, Pizza Hut, Superdrug and Arcadia Group, first partnered with Altius in 2008 to introduce an online supplier assessment and accreditation system that would ensure high standards from contractors working on clients’ premises.

We are delighted to extend our contract with Altius for a further five years. Our objective is to enhance our understanding of our suppliers further, introducing metrics for aligning their capabilities with the requirements of our clients both technically and culturally. ”

In 2011, Altius and SGP were awarded the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) Innovation in Technology and Systems Award in recognition of the unique supplier assessment service that has been developed.
The Altius system has also been adopted by other national organisations eager to improve their supply chain management and reduce risk and liability. These include Selfridges, Morrisons, Trust Inns, Airbus and QuestGates.
Altius is a member of Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) and provides consultancy and advice on supplier management to organisations such as the Rail Safety and Standards Board.
